Welcome to the latest addition of NYSORVA News. As you look to this year’s riding season. Here’s a look at what NYSORA has been busy doing in the off season. First, we are almost ready to announce our selection for club liability insurance. Countless hours have been spent making sure the coverage fits all the possible needs of all New York State clubs. Affordability was second only to the coverage. We focused on the small clubs here to get them affordable insurance that they need to continue to grow.
Secondly, we have received a grant from MIC/SVIA. The funds are designated to retain a lobbyist. We have retained Chris Del guidance and have already got the ATV weight limit bill passed in the Senate and have met with key committee members in the State Assembly. We would like to thank them for their support.
Many events are scheduled for this riding season. Try and get out and show your support by attending. From upstate to downstate we continue to grow. Don’t forget to go on the NYSORVA website and sign the petition in favor of the two bills that we are supporting in Albany. Also, sign-up for our email list. Encourage everyone you know to do so as well.
This is also proving to be one of the best years ever for our annual raffle. There are currently over 7,000 tickets in circulation. A special Thank You goes out to Can-Am for donating the Grand Prize! Go to the NYSORVA website for more details or see details in this edition.
